SUMMARY:  Extra line break on "pre" elements in map to book builds
ISSUE:  When generating output through the DITA map to FM book command (DITA-FMx or FM8-DITA), your preformatted elements (codeblock, msgblock, etc.) may end up with a line break at the start of the element. This appears only in the FM chapter files that are created by the process, it does not happen in the DITA topic files that are opened in Frame.
SOLUTION:  It appears that the "preserve line breaks" read/write rule is the cause if this problem (in conjunction with a possible bug in the XSLT import process).

The following element rule seems solve this problem:

element "msgblock"
{
    writer line break is 99999 characters;
    reader line break is forced return;
}
